Project based learning is the process by which students develop interest-based questions that drive the learning through hands-on, experiential collaboration.
These questions, referred to as “Accelerators,” drive the learning in the classroom. The questions are tied to content standards in the curriculum. Assessments are designed to evaluate students’ mastery of the content. Assessments are both formal and informal and include projects as well as processes that demonstrate the knowledge gained.
